San Francisco, CA- After 2 years of developing the buzzing Town Thizzness imprint, Thizz Nation & SMC Recordings are preparing to launch it’s San Francisco counterpart, Thizz City.

For Thizz City’s debut release, San Francisco legend Messy Marv was enlisted to serve in a “Godfather-esque” roll, helping to bring attention to the promising crop of talent signed to Thizz City. The 18 track album features all new material of Marv alongside Thizz City newbies Roach Gigz, Hustle Boys, Killa Kiese, Cam City, Pac B and other SF giants.
TC, who played key role in RBL Posse & 11/5’s classic albums, was brought on to Executive Produce the project and ensure that the young roster have the guidance necessary to properly make their mark. The combination of the wave of brilliant new city talent, and the grandiose and legend of past San Francisco hip-hop greats marks a milestone which has helped to bridge the gap between the new trends of current rap music and the forever immortalized classics.
